Prof Cuan Song Wu
C.S. Wu (ChuanSong Wu) currently works at the School of Material Science and Engineering, Shandong University. Prof. Wu does research in Materials Welding and Joining. He is the Fellow of American Welding Society, and Humboldtian Scholar in Germany. His research interests include the physics of welding, numerical simulation and experimental sensing & control of various welding processes. He has published more than 300 research papers in various international journals. He has received numerous research and academic awards from different international organizations. He is the member of Editorial Board of Science and Technology of Welding and Joining (Taylor & Francis), and the Vice Chair of the Editorial Board of Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering (Springer).
Dr Sushanta Kumar Panigrahi
Dr. Sushanta Kumar Panigrahi received his PhD from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in 2009. He worked as Post Doctoral Research Fellow at Centre for Friction Stir Processing, Missouri University of Science & Technology, Missouri , USA from 2009 to 2012 before joining IIT Madras. He was also a Visiting Professor at Ecole Centrale Nantes, France during May-June 2016. His research interest includes: (i) Development/Manufacturing of advanced materials; their fundamental science and manufacturability (Bulk ultrafine/nano grained materials, Metal matrix/Nano composites, In-situ composites, Ultrafine grained in-situ/ex-situ composites, High strength light weight Al, Mg and Ti based metallic materials, Materials as per design etc., Structure-Property-Manufacturability (Machining/Forming/Joining) correlation of such developed materials) ; (ii) Materials Processing (MP) for property enhancement (MP based on Severe plastic deformation, Thermomechanical treatment, Friction, Heat treatment, Microwave processing etc.; Microstructure-Texture-Processing correlation); (iii) Advanced Metal Forming (Bulk and sheet metal forming, Severe plastic deformation, Microforming, Incremental forming and Superplastic forming, Microstructure-Crystallography texture Property- Formability correlation); (iv) Plasticity and deformation behavior of materials (Deformation behavior under Quasistatic, Dynamic and Cyclic testing domain at sub-zero to high temperature range, Processing map development) and (v) Solid state processing and joining of similar/dissimilar materials (Friction stir processing/welding, Roll bonding etc.).
Prof Ricardo Branco
Ricardo Branco has completed his PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Coimbra. He is currently Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Coimbra, Portugal. His research interests are structural integrity, mechanical behaviour of materials, fatigue and fracture of engineering materials, fatigue analysis of mechanical and structural notched components, application of finite element method to fracture mechanics.
Dr Kaushik Kumar
Dr Kumar has completed his Ph. D. (Engineering) at Jadavpur University. He has 11 years Industrial and 21 years Teaching & Research Experience. He has registered 9 Patents and published 60+ Books, 30+ Edited Book Volume, 65+ Book Chapters, 160+ International Journal, 21 International and 1 National Conference Publications. He has been an Editor–in–Chief, Series Editor, Guest Editor, Editor, Editorial Board member and Reviewer for International and National Journals. He has won numerous Best Paper Awards at International Conferences. He has been invited to be Keynote Speaker at International & National Conferences. He has an h-index of 23.
